How it all started...
In May of 2015, we started the launch of Anothen Church.
"Anothen" comes from the Greek New Testament text and is seen in John 3:3. Jesus says you must be born "again." This word again is Anothen in Greek. It means "from above" or "higher things." That is the heart of Anothen church. "We exist so that people will find life, and life abundantly in Jesus Christ." That is our mission statement.
That is what we are doing. We are seeing people finding life in abundance and having transformed lives. This is all because of God's love for this county and is accomplished all for His glory. We are currently in a season of asking for God's supernatural and abundant favor in reaching this city.

Expanding the vision...
We’ve partnered with nonprofit organizations and dedicate 10% (will increase each year) of every dollar given to support local, national, and global causes. There are opportunities to use your time and talents to support one of our partners every week of the year.
Keep a look out for global and local mission opportunities.

Where we are headed...
Believers’ baptism is one of the first steps of obedience for new believers seeking to live a life of devotion to God. Several times a year, we host a baptism class, followed by a public believers’ baptism ceremony. Interested in being baptized?
